Yes, this is a guided trip for certified divers rather than an introductory pool-to-sea course. You will need a current certification card and a logbook. Divers with no certification at all can still join the boat as snorkellers on suitable sites, and many couples travel that way. How many dives will I do in a day?
Two dives is the standard for this format, with a long surface interval between them. That pacing is deliberate: newer divers use gas faster, tire faster and gain more from a relaxed second dive than from a rushed third. Will I definitely see Batu Bolong?
Not definitely. Batu Bolong is included when the tidal window makes its sheltered side genuinely suitable for a newer diver, and skipped when it does not. Over a multi-day stay the odds improve considerably, which is why we suggest divers who specifically want the pinnacle book more than one day rather than pinning everything on a single tide.
Can my non-diving partner come on the boat?
Usually yes. Non-divers can join as passengers or snorkellers on most departures, subject to space on the boat for your date.
