A cruise that sleeps in the park can position the vessel overnight and be on the mooring when that window opens, which is the practical advantage no day boat can match. When should you cruise?
The drier months from around April to November generally bring flatter crossings and clearer water, which is why premium cabins in that window are booked furthest ahead. Shoulder dates can be excellent and considerably easier to secure, with the trade-off being more variable weather windows and a higher chance of a reordered route. Frequently asked questions
Can we charter the entire vessel for our group?
Yes. Whole-boat charters are common for groups of roughly six to sixteen depending on the vessel, and they give you control over the route order, meal timings and dive pace within what conditions permit. Charter quotations are built per vessel and per date rather than per cabin. Send your group size and dates and we will confirm which boats can be held for you.
How many dives are scheduled per day?
Premium routes usually plan three guided dives on full days, with a dusk or night dive offered on vessels equipped for it. The number depends on the route, conditions and how the group is diving. The guide may reduce it if fatigue, gas consumption or weather makes that the sound call, and no one on board is pushed into a dive they would rather sit out.
Is there space for underwater camera equipment?
On most premium vessels yes, with a dedicated camera table, freshwater rinse tanks and charging points on the dive deck. Capacity and voltage vary by boat, which matters if you are travelling with several housings and strobes. Tell us what you are carrying when you enquire so we can confirm the specific vessel handles it rather than assuming it does.
Can non-divers join the cruise?
Yes, and premium vessels suit them better than budget boats because there is somewhere comfortable to be while the divers are down. Snorkelling is arranged on sheltered sites, and land stops are included where the route and schedule allow.
